Building up the first layers of a new painting. The beginning is one of the easiest parts for me. I get to just play with textures and cover up any parts I’m not in love with. There’s almost no pressure to make it “good” or “right”…. whatever that means.
Used my DIY texture paste, paint mixed with sand, heavy body acrylic, and mica flake paint for various types of texture.
